Privacy Policy
Version 2026-10-12 · Effective 2026-10-12
This Privacy Policy explains what information Who2See collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, role, and profile details you provide.
- Professional listing data — clinic and provider details, specialties, locations, and accepted insurances.
- Content you submit — public reviews and ratings, private professional endorsements, and messages.
- Usage data — pages viewed, searches, and device/analytics data used to operate and improve the Service.
- Search inputs — the Care Finder is designed not to store your conversation transcript; aggregate, non-identifying search demand may be recorded to improve the directory.
2. How we use information
To operate the directory and matching, display listings and reviews, enable referrals, communicate with you (including email you can unsubscribe from), maintain safety and integrity, and comply with law.
3. Health information
Who2See is a directory, not a healthcare provider, and is not intended to collect protected health information. Please do not share diagnoses or others' health details in public reviews. [Attorney to confirm HIPAA posture — Who2See is not intended to act as a covered entity or business associate.]
4. How information is shared
- Public profiles and public patient reviews are visible to anyone.
- Private provider-to-provider ratings and notes are never shown publicly; only aggregate "Top Recommendation" signals are surfaced to logged-in professionals.
- We use service providers (e.g., hosting, email, analytics) under appropriate terms, and may disclose information if required by law.
- We do not sell your personal information.
5. Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, control notification and visibility settings in Account Settings, unsubscribe from marketing email, and request access to or deletion of your data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. Who2See initially operates in Washington, and Washington's My Health My Data Act may apply to any consumer health data we handle; residents of other states (for example, California) may have rights under their own state laws. [Attorney to finalize state-specific disclosures, including Washington My Health My Data Act obligations — note it carries a private right of action for health-related data.]
6. Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy; the version and effective date above will change. Questions? Reach us through the Help Center.
